Vice President of the CIC assigned as the Assistant PG

Vice President of the Customs Integrity Commission (CIC), Jihaadhaa Anees has been assigned as the Assistant Prosecutor General at the Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office.

Media Official of the PG’s Office told Sun Media today that she took over as the Assistant Prosecutor General last Wednesday.

Vice President of CIC Jihaadhaa resigned from the position on 22 June. She has previously worked at the PG’s Office.

She was one of the prosecutors on the case of Dr. Afrasheem’s murder. She was also a prosecutor on other murder trials and major criminal cases.
