Fly Dubai to begin flights between the Maldives and Sri Lanka for USD 160

Dubai’s low budge airline, Fly Dubai has decided to sell tickets between the Maldives and Sri Lanka for USD 160 (MVR 2467).

Managing Director of the Maldivian agent of Fly Dubai, Inner Maldives, Mohamed Firaq told Sun Media today that they have decided to start the flights on 3 September with three return flights a week.

“The highest fare is at USD 160 for return, since it’s local carriers, meals won’t be provided but package would be included.” Firaq said.

The usual price for flights between the Maldives and Sri Lanka are about USD 180.

Firaq said that 800-737 planes would be used for the trips and the ticket sales would start in the next ten days.

Fly Dubai started flights to Maldives two years ago.
