Hithadhoo accident victim taken to Mal

Ali Sadhim, 23, who was taken to the ICU in Hithadhoo Regional Hospital following an accident in Hithadhoo on Monday, has arrived in Malé for further treatment.

The accident took place at around 10:00 a.m. yesterday near City Central on Bodu Magu in Hithadhoo.

Sadhim was in the backseat of the motorcycle involved in the accident.

An official of Hithadhoo Regional Hospital told Sun Online that the victim had suffered injuries to the face and head, and was sent to Malé yesterday afternoon.

He was first taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where he was advised to consult a neurologist and then taken to ADK Hospital.

Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Affal told Sun Online that Sadhim was in critical condition and is receiving treatment in the ICU.
