Minister of External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met on Saturday to discuss regional issues including Pakistan, Bangladesh and Maldives, Indian paper NDTV has reported.
NDTV cited a readout of the meeting provided by Ban Ki-moon's office, and said that Swaraj and Ban Ki-moon also discussed the challenges of climate change and sustainable development and the need for India's strong leadership in these fields, and the newly released Report of the High-Level Panel on Peace Operations.
