Fire breaks out in a warehouse

A fire has started at warehouse in Maafannu.

The fire started at United Food Supplies Go-down in front of TepCon Hardware.

Information Officer of MNDF, Major Adnaan Hussain told Sun Media that the fire started on the panel board of a container inside the warehouse. He said that the fire was controlled by the MNDF before it could spread.

A Police Officer working with the firefighters said that there is no smoke coming from the warehouse but since it is a cold storage, there is fog from the warehouse in the area.

Although no one was injured in the fire, some of the goods inside the warehouse were affected.
