Pastry course conducted for children with special needs have been completed

A special pastry course conducted by the Maldives Association of Physical Disables (MAPD) and Aimi See Pastry for special needs children has been completed.

Informing Sun Media about the course, the Chairman of MAPD, Ahmed Mohamed told Sun Media that the purpose of the course targeted at special needs children was to teach them to stand up on their own.

He said that MAPD is conducted courses for special needs children in various different fields with the participation of the parents as well. Hence the limited number of participants, says the MDA Chairman, “Our purpose is to teach something like that to the parent and the child.”

In this latest course, with 15 children and their parents, a total of 30 participants completed the course.
