MP Mahuloof and the people arrested at the protest has been released

MP for the South Galolhu constituency, Ahmed Mahuloof and the rest of the people arrested at the opposition rally organized by MDP with Adhaalath Party’s involvement has been released from Police custody.

When they were taken to the Criminal Court to extend their remand period, the court released them under oath to cooperate with the Police.

MP Mahuloof was also released under the same condition.

He was arrested last night past 3 a.m. near the “Canaryge” area while protesting with other protestors.

Police said that he was arrested for obstruction and disobedience.
