Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has opened their scholarship to Maldives for a second time.
A press release from the Department of Higher Education last Thursday said that the applications were opened for a second time because there were no applicants for the scholarship last time.
Department of Higher Education said that applicants who want to do Masters in Flood Disaster have to submit their application by 2:30 p.m. tomorrow.
Qualification conditions include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resource Management Disaster Mitigation or in a related field with three years of working experience in the field. If the applicant completed their education under the government or a government scholarship, they must have two years working experience.
Department of Higher Education says that Diploma or higher certificates have to be validated by the Maldives Qualification Authority when applying. And those applying the provisional certificate instead of the Bachelor’s Degree, the applicant must have completed their education at a university accepted by the Maldives Qualification Authority.
And submit a letter confirming that the university is accepted by the Qualification Authority along with the transcripts of the course.
