Ticket sales underway for the charity football match to help Nepal

Ticket sales are underway for the charity football match that would be held tomorrow as part of the “United with Nepal” telethon to help the country after the devastating earthquake.

The ticket prices for the charity football match organized with the help of FAM, for the “United with Nepal” telethon organised by the Maldivian Red Crescent and Maldives Medical Association joined by the Medias in the Maldives, are for MVR 25, MVR 500 and MVR 1000.

The tickets for MVR 500 and MVR 1000 are being sold as souvenir tickets.

In the charity match starting at 4 p.m. at the National Stadium tomorrow, a team from the Parliament would play against the veterans’ team.

The steering committee of the “United with Nepal” telethon said tickets are available at Sea House and New Port restaurants. And ticket sale promotion and sales would be conducted around the city.

The organizers say that donation boxes would be place around the National Stadium when the charity match takes place tomorrow.
