Another fire in Alifushi

A fire incident has occurred again at R. Alifushi at an electrical distribution box.

Alifushi Council Member, Ali Azmeen told Sun Media tonight that that exact reason for the fire is difficult to say. He said that a man in the area around 7 p.m. called him and informed of a fire at the distribution box at the Alifushi Regional Vocational Training Center.

“When I questioned the man who called me, he said that he went to the area to sound of a Bangladeshi citizen screaming that there was a fire. And the box was completely on fire when they went.” Councilor Azmeen said.

He said that Police are investigating the fire and it is difficult to say whether the fire was set on purpose.

While a fire started at a distribution box in Alifushi today, last night, an independent boat builder’s warehouse was burned beyond use.
