The former MP for Dhiggaru constituents has been brought to Male

The former MP of Dhiggaru constituency and the Vice President of the 17th Parliament, Ahmed Nazim who is serving a life sentence has been brought to Male’ to consult a doctor.

The Information Officer of the Correctional Service, Moosa Rameez told Sun Media tonight that Nazim was brought to Male’ tonight around 7 p.m. And he was treated at ADK Hospital.

Nazim was brought to ADK Hospital yesterday as well. He was brought to consult a neurologist yesterday.

Information Officer of the Correctional Service said that Nazim was brought to the hospital tonight to do an MRI.

Ahmed Nazim, who was close to President Yamin, was sentenced to life in prison for winning the bid to buy 15,000 national flags for the Atolls Ministry by false proposals using employees of Nameera Engineering Pvt. Ltd., where he holds a share, on 31 December 2003.
