Remand period of nine people arrested regarding the assault on the Police officer has been extended for a second time

The remand period of nine people who were arrested for assaulting a Police officer at the opposition protest on 1 May has been extended for a second time.

Police Media Official said that the remand period of those nine people were extended over the course of several days between this week and the previous week.

A total of 14 people have been arrested regarding the assault on the Police officer.

Police have said that they are still looking for some people related to the attack.

Although the cases of the people arrested at the May Day protest has been sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the case of the people who assaulted the officer has not yet been sent.
