Two German players join Sun Team

Two German players have joined the team of Sun Hotels and Resorts for Women’s Division Football Championship starting next Sunday.

The players who joined the team are Laura Goretzka and Toni Berger.

Laura Goretzka has played to Hertha BSC Berlin in the 2009 in the Bundesliga. She also played in the DFB Cup.

Talking to Sun Media, Laura Goretzka said that she is excited for the opportunity to play in the tournament starting this Sunday. She said that she needs practice to get used to the environment and would be taking part in the team practices starting today.

The Captain of Sun Team, Areesha Riza said that aside from the two German players who joined the team today, two Pakistan players would come to Maldives tonight.

Manager of the team, Aishath Raffiya said that the team is well prepared for the tournament this time.

While the official airline partner of the Sun Team this year is Oman Air, the accommodation partner for the foreign players is Mookai Hotels.
