Ramadan working hours announced

Government working hours during the month of Ramadan will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., the President’s Office has announced.

Ramadan, based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon, is predicted to start on 18 June 2015 in Maldives.

The President’s Office said that the government working hours for the seven days following the holy month, from 1 Shawwaal until 7 Shawwaal, will also be from 10:00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
