Maldives Pension Administration Office has announced that the Finance Forum will be held for the fourth consecutive year, later this month.
Director of Pension Office Ismail Sujau told Sun Online that the forum would be held on 20 May in Kurumba Maldives.
It will be attended by officials representing the Pension Office of Bhutan, and the World Bank.
Sujau said that the current pension scheme was established with guidance from the World Bank, and experts from the World Bank will share their experiences in other countries at the forum.
Officials from Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA), Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA), Ministry of Finance, banks, and private companies will also attend the forum, he said.
A panel discussion will be held during the forum regarding current issues related to pension.
