Sheikh Ali Shareef appointed as Executive Coordinator of Islamic Affairs Ministry

President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Sheikh Ali Shareef as Executive Coordinator of Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

This has been confirmed to Sun Online by Ali Shareef, who said that he received the letter of appointment yesterday.

Until now, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Maldives Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

He has also worked with religious programmes on state radio.
