Thief who stole MVR 20,000 from a caf

Criminal Court has sentenced a man who stole MVR 20,000 from a café to 32 months in prison.

The 25-year-old Ahmed Assad stole MVR 20,000 from Ambrosia café on Banafsa Magu.

The verdict delivered on Thursday said that the witness testimonies presented by the prosecution in the case have proved that Ahmed Assad stole MVR 20,000 from Ambrosia café on 16 November 2012.
