MNDF cautions about the weather

MNDF Coast Guard has advised caution when travelling and take safety precautions since the weather has picked up resulting rough seas.

MNDF said today that the Coast Guard has received reports about damages to boats in the harbors and other incidents due to rough seas.

“And so, we advise to vessel owners and those in charge to take measures against damages while waiting in or outside the harbor.” The MNDF website says.

The Coast Guard also advised to take special precautions about the weather when travelling at night and follow the laws and regulation of sea travel when preparing journeys.
