MET: Rainy days ahead

Maldives Meteorological Center (MET) has said that rainy days are ahead for the country.

And official from the MET office told Sun Media today that it is expected to rain all over the country for the next three days. Heavy rains are expected in some areas with thunderstorms.

“Central and Northern areas and Southern areas are expected to get heavy rains with thunders.” The official said.

The Met office official said that the seas would be rough on average in the next three days and expected to be more rough in the rain.

Met office says that the current rain in the country is the beginning of the Southwest monsoon.
