New regulation prohibits marriage between prison officers and inmates

A new Ethics Regulation has been established for prison officers, prohibiting marriage between them and inmates.

The regulation states that prison officers shall not discriminate between inmates based on race, religion, or any other factor; and that they shall not engage in any form of personal relations with inmates.

The regulation also states that prison officers shall try to solve problems by giving advice, and in the event that this fails, may use force under the direct instructions of a senior officer.

Furthermore, it states that prison officers shall also not be involved in any fraudulent of corrupt activities, and shall take action against anyone suspected of such offences.

They may use their discretion when required, within the boundaries of the laws, regulations, and ethics standards, states the new regulation.
