Cases sent to PG Office against Mahloof, two journalists

Police have forwarded cases against Galolhu-South MP Ahmed Mahloof and two journalists of Raajje TV, to the Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office, for prosecution.

Mahloof, who remains in police custody, was arrested on suspicion of breaking through police barricades and obstruction during a protest on 25 March.

Raajje TV journalists Mohamed Visam and Adam Zareer were also arrested on the same night for obstruction.

In addition to the three aforementioned individuals, police have also submitted cases to PG Office against five more people arrested at the same protest.
