Mahloof arrested after the protest got heated

The MP for the South Galolhu constituents, Ahmed Mahloof has been arrested in the opposition protest rally “Against Cruelty” tonight after the rally got heated and the protestors broke through a police barricade.

Sun Media journalist active in the area said that Mahloof was arrested after the protestors broke through a police barricade and progressed up to Salt Café where the MP was arrested. He said that during the arrest, the MP’s shirt buttons have been ripped off.

Describing the arrest, the journalist said that the MP was taken away by all fours by the police.

The journalist also confirmed three more arrests due to conflicts that broke out during the MP’s arrest.

The rally has been broken up by the police.
