Young man stabbed in Male

A young man has been attacked with a knife near Million Bookshop on Majeedee magu this afternoon.

A Police media official said that the incident was reported at around 15:30, and is currently under investigation.

Sun is informed that the man sustained stab wounds to the chest and back. The attackers fled, but had thrown the two knives used in the attack into a drain on the side of the road.

The people who took the victim to the hospital also took the two knives to the hospital.

IGM Hospital’s media official said that a man was brought in with stab wounds this afternoon, and that he is currently under treatment.
