The government says the project I-Heaven to develop Ihavandhihppolhu is not project that would be given to a specific country.
While Indian media has published that the project I-Heaven has been proposed to the Indian government by the Minister for the President’s Office Mohamed Hussain Shareef (Mundhu), He spoke to Sun Media today saying that project is not going to be assigned to a specific country.
“I-Heaven project is not a going to, and will not be assigned a specific country or group for the entire project.” Mundhu said.
Mundhu says that all allies of the Maldives have the opportunity to take part in developing Ihavandhihppolhu in the many phases of project I-Heaven. And Indian businesses are included as well.
The minister says the government wants as many countries to take part in the Ihavandhihppolhu development. And he added that it shows that project I-Heaven is an open project from the fact that the project was announced at a multi-national investment forum.
