Former Defense Minister Colonel Retired Mohamed Nazim, who is under police custody, has been taken back to Dhoonidhoo after consulting doctor at ADK Hospital.
Reporters of Sun Online has seen Nazim being escorted to the vehicle after consulting doctor.
According to a family source of Nazim, he received a dental treatment from ADK Hospital on Saturday and that he was brought to the hospital without informing the family. However, family members including Nazim’s wife and his brother, the MD of STO Adam Azim have gone to hospital when they came to know about it.
Among politicians, Deputy Leader of Jumhooree Party Ameen Ibrahim and Galolhu-Dhekunu MP Ahmed Mahloof have visited Nazim.
Police media official told to Sun Online that Nazim was brought to consult a doctor upon Nazim’s request.
Nazim has been charged with possession of firearms after Police claim to have found a pistol following a raid of his apartment at around 3:30 a.m. on 18 January 2015. Meanwhile, Criminal Court has issued an order to keep him in detention until the end of the trial.
