14 people arrested in uninhabited island on suspicion of using drugs, alcohol

14 people have been arrested in an uninhabited island near Laamu Maavah, on suspicion of using drugs and alcohol.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the group was arrested in Maaveshi, located near Maavah, during an operation conducted yesterday following information received by Police Intelligence.

The 14 people also include a minor, said police.
