Two JP councillors, three MDP councillors join PPM

Two councillors of Jumhooree Party (JP) and three councillors of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) have joined ruling party, Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

The membership forms were presented to President Abdulla Yameen at a ceremony at Muleeaage today.

The JP members who joined PPM are from Baa Kamadhoo Council and Meemu Maduvvari Council, while the MDP members who joined PPM are two from Thaa Thimarafushi Council and one from Seenu Feydhoo Council.

Additional membership forms were also presented to President Yameen by the councillors.
