Individual arrested with drugs from Meedhoo

An individual from Raa Meedhoo has been arrested with 20 cellophane pieces containing a substance believed to be drugs.

Police said that they have arrested a 19 year old man following a raid of his room with 20 cellophane pieces containing a substance believed to be drugs, after a theft case has been reported to Raa Meedhoo Police Station against him on 7th of this month.

Police said that the person arrested have records of drugs and he has been given a five day remand period by Raa Dhuvaafaru Megistrate Court.
