Fire breaks out at Airport

A fire has broken out at the VIP lounge area of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Information officer of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) Adnan Mohamed on Monday evening said that fire has caught in trashes kept at the VIP lounge and that neither any one was injured, nor anything was damaged in the fire.

An eyewitness said to Sun Online that smoke was seen from the VIP lounge for a while. Firemen of MNDF and airport firemen worked in controlling and extinguishing fire.
