Woman arrested for possession in Hulhumal

A woman has been arrested in Hulhumalé on suspicion of possession.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the 25-year-old woman was arrested in a flat in Hulhumalé on Sunday night.

Items found in her room, where she was alone at the time of the arrest, include packets containing substances believed to be drugs, material used for packing drugs, a knife, a box of cigarettes, and a lighter.

The suspect has crime record for drug offences and theft, said police.
