Vice President calls on Saudi Arabia King

Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has called on the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Vice President has conveyed condolences on behalf of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom, government and the people of Maldives to the members of the Saudi Royal Family and the people of Saudi Arabia. The Vice President also congratulated the new King on his ascension to the throne.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed good wishes to the people of Maldives in his remarks and highlighted on his last visit to Maldives in February 2014.

The Vice President is accompanied by Minister at President’s Office Abdullah Ameen, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry Abdullah Hameed.
