Defence Minister Nazim dismissed

Mohamed Nazim has been dismissed from his post as Minister of Defence.

Spokesperson for the President’s Office Ibrahim Muaz Ali said on Twitter that Nazim was dismissed in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Sun Online has learned from credible sources that police seized a pistol from Nazim’s apartment following a raid late on Saturday night.

Police have not commented on the matter, and when contacted, Nazim said that information related to this issue would be provided by the police.
