Traders Hotel rebrands to Hotel Jen

Traders; the popular hotel among government and public sectors has been re-branded to Hotel Jen Male’ on Wednesday.

This is the second time the name of the hotel has been changed. The hotel was first opened in the name of Holiday Inn.

Hotel Jen was opened officially by the Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed in an event held on Wednesday afternoon. Defense Minister Nazim, Youth Minister Maleeh, Attorney General Anil and Indian High Commissioner also participated in the ceremony.

Under the effort of Shangri-La Resorts and Hotels, seven hotels established in the name of Traders Hotel across the world has been re-branded to Hotel Jen so far. They are aiming to establish ten Hotels of that brand across the world by the end of April 2015.

Economic Minister in his speech, after inaugurating the hotel said that world’s famous companies have invested in the Tourism Sector of Maldives and he appreciated Shangri-La Resorts and Hotels in providing service in Maldives.
