Shaheem appointed as Acting Health Minister

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has been appointed as Acting Minister of Health.

In a tweet posted by the Spokesperson for the President’s Office Ibrahim Muaz Ali on Sunday, it has been stated that President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom has appointed Islamic Minister Dr. Shaheem as Acting Minister of Health while Minister of Defense, the Acting Health Minister Mohamed Nazim is abroad on a private trip.

President Yameen has appointed Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb as Acting Minister of Defense on Sunday.
