Four police officers have joined service after completing one-year courses on Forensic Science and Forensic Medicine in India.
Police said that four police officers, who have completed IPS probationers course conducted from December 2013 to November 2014 have joined service in November 2014.
Police Sargent Mohamed Niyaz, Police Sargent Athifa Hassan, Police Sargent Mohamed Ibrahim and Police Copral Hamidha Abdul Aleem have completed IPS probationers course from Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy of Hyderabad in India.
Police said that the main areas covered in that course were Forensic Science, Forensic Medicine, Computing, Policing Skills, Physical Training, Unarmed Combat and other areas that were related to services provided by police officers.
Indian High Commissioner to Maldives Rajeev Sahare has met and congratulated the graduates when they arrived in Maldives after completion of the course.
