Committee approves two individuals as PIC members

The Parliament Committee on Independent Institutions has approved the appointment of Uza Fathimath Minhathu Izzath and Adam Saeed Moosa as members of Police Integrity Commisssion (PIC).

Out of the two members approved by the committee, highest score was received by Adam Saeed Moosa of Male’ Special Registry 5831 which is 89 percent, while Uza Fathimath Minhathu Izzath f G.Gofi received 70.

Approval of members for Independent Institutions are evaluated based on capability, experience, leadership, vision, integrity and education.

Uza Fathimath Minhathu Izzath and Adam Saeed Moosa will be appointed as members of PIC if they are approved by the parliament.
