Maldives Meteorological Service (Met Office) has warned of bad weather with heavy rain and thunder to islands in the South and some islands in the central regions of Maldives.
Thahmeena Abdul Kareem, weather forecaster of Met Office said to Sun Online on Tuesday that heavy rain and thunder will be experienced in islands of South and some islands in central region of Maldives over the next 24 hours, however wind would be on average speed.
Met office said that wind might gust between three to 13 miles per hour; hence seas would be on average calm.
“Rain experienced in these days are caused due to the transition of seasons,” said the weather forecaster.
Thahmeena stated that rain experienced in these days would be cleared after Friday.
