Police undertake security of Social Center

Special Constabulary Police have undertaken the responsibility of maintaining safety of Maafannu Youth Center, which is also known as the Social Center.

Police said that although Social Center is considered as a place used by a lot of youths and different groups, sometimes the place is utilized unpleasantly.

Because different types of tournaments are carried out at Social Center, a lot of spectators and supporters also visit the center. For that reason, police said that safety and security of social center must be ensured.

Police noted that they started maintaining security of social center upon request from Youth Ministry.

Apart from Social Center, Special Constabulary Police maintain security at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and other locations.
