Pedestrian injured after being hit by motorcycle

A pedestrian has been injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Male’.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the accident took place at around 12:45 p.m. near Jalaaluddin Mosque.

Both the pedestrian and the motorcycle driver have been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

The hospital has not provided any details regarding their injuries.

Police said that the accident was under investigation.

Earlier today, in a separate incident, a car crashed into a tree at Adi Park in Male’. No one was hurt in this accident.
