Detention extended for a fifth time for suspect in Rilwan case

The Criminal Court has extended detention for a fifth time, for a suspect arrested on suspicion of involvement in the disappearance of Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online today that detention was extended by ten days for the 25-year-old man - the only suspect who remains in custody in relation to this case.

His detention was last extended on 25 October.

Rilwan went missing 88 days ago, on 8 August 2014. The court has released three out of four people arrested in relation to this case.
