Husband: Unoosha suffered serious injuries in speedboat accident

Prominent artist Maryam Unoosha’s husband Ibrahim Hameesh has said that Unoosha has suffered serious injuries in a speedboat accident, but her life is not at risk.

Speaking to Sun Online outside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at ADK Hospital, Hameesh said that Unoosha suffered broken bones in her right arm and shoulder, and bleeding near the lungs.

He said that she was unable to breathe for some time before being given painkillers at the hospital, but she is breathing normally now.

Hameesh further cited doctors and said that she suffered fractures to her face, but no injuries to her skull. He urged well-wishers to pray for her speedy recovery.

Doctors have decided to keep Unoosha in the ICU for 48 hours for observation, said Hameesh.
