Muhsin appointed as Deputy Minister of Youth

Vice President of Football Association of Maldives (FAM) Abdul Muhsin Hameed has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

Spokesperson for President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali told Sun Online that Muhsin was appointed to this post by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on 15 October.

Muhsin has previously served as the Member of Parliament for Nilandhoo constituency, and presently holds the post of President of Victory Sports Club.

He ran for Nilandhoo seat at the most recent Parliamentary Election, but lost by one vote.
