Nine students arrested with pornographic materials released

Nine students, arrested on suspicion of having nude pictures and videos last week from Addu City have been released.

Police media official said that all the nine students arrested were released, however, the case would still be under investigation.

Police said that in addition to the nine students below the age of 18, two adults were also arrested; and that the adults were still under their custody.

The minors arrested on suspicion of having pornographic materials were students studying in a secondary class of Addu City Feydhoo School. They were arrested after pornographic materials were found in their possession.
