Man goes missing while in Gan for Eid holidays

A man has gone missing while he was in Laamu Gan for Eid holidays.

Police said that a 50-year-old man was reported missing at 11:24 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday), and that he was last seen near Thundi mosque at around 11:10 p.m., at which time he was wearing a checked dark-grey shirt and dark pants.

Sun Online correspondent in Gan Ali Wafir said that the missing man is Abdulla Naseer, G. Waterloo, Male’, who is married to a woman from Gan and was visiting the island for Eid holidays.

Abdulla Naseer is known to be involved in the local film industry.

Wafir said that he was seen during Eid celebrations on yesterday, but the family reported him missing when they did not hear from him after 11:00 p.m.

Wafir said that Abdulla Naseer’s phone still rings when called.
