Three arrested over Rilwan

Three people have been arrested in relation to the disappearance of Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.

Sun Online has been informed that the three people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in Rilwan’s disappearance.

Sun Online has learned from a credible source that the three suspects were taken to Criminal Court today for detention hearings, and they have been given five days of detention.

As part of the search operation for Rilwan, Police have searched locations in Male’, Hulhumale’, and several other islands.

Police have also said that video footage of 293 hours, collected from 30 cameras in various locations, are under investigation; and some forensic evidence have been sent abroad for further study.
