Man injured in assault in Male

A man has suffered a head injury in an assault that took place in Male’ today.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the incident, wherein a 25-year-old man suffered a head injury, took place at around 2:45 p.m. near Kulliyathul Dhiraasaathul Islaamiyya.

He said that the victim has been treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (GMH), and while no one has been arrested, the case is under investigation.

The 25-year-old has been released from the hospital after treatment.
