Police provide security to Minivan News, Raajje TV buildings

The police have provided security to Minivan News Raajje TV buildings, following threats that they would be set on fire.

Police said that they met with senior officials of Minivan News and Raajje TV separately on Friday night, to discuss options regarding maintaining security at the two buildings.

Both parties agreed with the police to cooperate with the efforts to minimise damage to the people and their belongings, in relation to both buildings.

Police also informed both parties details of designated officers to be contacted, in case of danger.
