Teacher accused of bullying suspended

A teacher at Imaaduddin School has been suspended after being accused of using offensive language and threatening a student.

Sun Online has been informed that the teacher has been notified by the Ministry of Education not to attend work until further notice.

The Ministry has also brought the issue to the attention of the Civil Service Commission.

Principal of Imaaduddin School Mohamed Shaheen said that the issue is under investigation by the school, and no details can therefore be revealed to media.

Shaheen also said that the student has been transferred to a different class, as requested by the parents.

Education Ministry also declined to comment, citing the ongoing investigation.
