Housing Minister summoned to Gan Court

Laamu Gan Thundi Magistrate Court has issued an order to summon Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu, in relation to two cases filed to the court.

The spokesperson for Thundi Magistrate Court told Sun Online that Dr Muizzu has been summoned for 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, for hearings on the two cases.

He said that the court decided to summon the minister after Housing Ministry failed to comply with two summon notices, requesting a representative to appear in court.

The two cases were filed by two residents of Laamu Kumundoo regarding the allocation of housing units constructed by the French Red Cross for the people of Kalhaidhoo and Mundoo following the tsunami.
