Two individuals nominated to PIC

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has nominated two individuals for the membership of the Police Integrity Commission (PIC), and sent their names to the parliament for approval.

The nominees are Adam Saeed Moosa and Fathimath Minhath Izzath.

Earlier this month, the President appointed three people to the PIC following approval by the parliament, after the terms of three of its members expired. They were Fathimath Sareera Ali Shareef, who was appointed as the commission’s president, Mohamed Farhad, and Ali Nadheem.
